The Governor of the State, boosts the competitiveness of the city, by creating a new commercial pole, south of the city of Durango.

 As part of the strategy to develop the commercial infraestructure of the city of Durango, the Government promotes and participates in actions to consolidate a new commercial and economic pole, supported by new investments from private companies in the short and medium term.

By this august SORIANA PLUS will open, as the most modern department store in the north of México, WalMart will follow and at the end of the year the construction of a new commercial center will break ground, hosting department stores, restaurants and movie theaters.

These investments, besides being  job generators, will boost a new economic dynamics, benefiting thousands.

Next Step will be the detonation of the Industrial sector using a similar strategy, initiating with the construction of a new industrial park.
